Description:

The XZZ IT8390 Programmer is designed for programming iTE EC ITE85XX and ITE83XX Series Chips on laptops and notebook computers without the need for disassembly.

Reading Chips:

  1. Connect the SM bus on the motherboard's battery holder to any ground using three DuPont cables (no power connection is required).
  2. Use a Type-C cable to connect the programmer to the computer.
  3. Power on the motherboard (ensure that the motherboard generates 3V normally).
  4. If a software error message appears, stating "Please Turn on ITEEC Power!" €šthis indicates an unrecognized chip error. Click "OK" (if the error persists, check the cable connections).
  5. Once the software icon lights up, click "TypeAuto" to recognize the chip.
  6. Select "Internal--Flash" at the top.
  7. Click "Read" to read the chip, and then click "Save" to save the file.

Writing Chips:

  1. Follow the same steps as the chip reading process for the first six steps.
